Today, I watched the "Day in the Life of a Japanese Ramen Chef." I thought that this was very interesting, and something that I wanted to share was the dedication that these chefs had for their crafts. Every single detail was carefully accounted for and reflected the Japanese culture. I especially thought that the daily routine was interesting as it was very structured (something that I need more of in my life). Additionally, the chef's care for each customer was a culture shock as American restaurants do not have this level of courtesy for the workers at these restaurants.

Hey Ian, I thought it was neat as well and enjoy watching the meticulousness of these chefs as they mix cuisine and art. I think people are able to taste the difference when chefs have a specific and clear goal/vision for their dishes.
ReplyDeleteDo you watch a lot of cooking videos? I've not looked much on youtube, so I'm not familiar with the better content creators.
